On this day, Riverbed by Fiona Jack will be closing with a whanau friendly event held in solidarity with Save Our Unique Landscape campaign - SOUL at the Ihumātao Reclamation Festival.

Fiona Jack and Sue Bradford have decided to move the ‘Daytime Workshop with Tamariki’ to Ihumātao as a part of the Ihumātao Reclamation Festival – a whānau friendly day with live music and workshops.

The Daytime Workshop with Tamariki at Ihumātao Reclamation Festival will run from 11am - 1pm and will be facilitated by Rebecca Hobbs, Sue Bradford and Fiona Jack under the guidance of Kuia Betty. We hope you (and your tamariki) will join us to support the important kaupapa of SOUL (the ‘Save Our Unique Landscape’ campaign).

Participants will be invited to make rocks while engaging in conversation with Rebecca and others about the volcanic field on which Ihumātao and the Ōtuataua Stonefields rest.

Please note that Artspace Aotearoa will be open on Saturday March 2 from 11am until 4pm. As with all other Saturdays during the Riverbed project there will be clay available should people wish to make rocks at the gallery.
