Listening to our Tree Neighbours
Miranda Bellamy and Amanda Fauteux have spent Covid-19 lockdown getting to know Ōtepoti’s urban trees. They have utilised a specialised device to record and sonify each tree’s biodata. The resulting soundscapes will be shared daily alongside video portraits and captions that critically story the trees’ associated dendrological and anthropological histories.
